The other individual dying of the flu was Agnes Holle Meyer (Mrs. Herman Meyer). She died November 2, 1918. Herman Meyer had died in January 1918 of the measles. Five children were left without parents. Siblings of Agnes took the children into their homes. Two of the children you would perhaps know or heard your mother talk about were Erwin Meyer who was taken in my Gust and Mary Kleiboeker and Rosa Meyer taken in by Oscar and Beata Klekboeker. Mary and Rosa were sisters of Agnes.
