Wilhelmina “Minnie” Lampe

"Mrs. Minnie C. Spree, 84, Mt Vernon, died at 5:15 p.m. Monday at her home near here following a lingering illness. Mrs. Spree was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt. She is survived by four daughters, Nora and Milda, both of the home, Mrs. Marvin Moennig. Pierce City, Mrs. Earl Sears, Lockwood; three sons, Albert, Monett, and Emil and Theodore, both of Mt. Vernon; five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Bracht, Monett, Mrs. Ida Krueger, Mrs. Fred Meyer, and Mrs. Walter Brockschmidt, all of near Monett, and Mrs. August Obermann. Mt. Vernon; three brothers. Gus Lampe and Rudolph, both of Monett, Herman, Pierce City; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Spree will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt with the Rev. W.J. Stelling officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Buchanan."
