Herbert was born in St Louis, Missouri to the late Herbert and Adele [nee Hehrlein] Kleyboecker, Sr. After high school, he joined the United States Army, and later married Bonnie [nee Heimbacher]. At McGraw-Hill Publishing Company he worked as the warehouse supervisor. Survivors include: Bonnie, his wife of 53 years; one step daughter,Kimberly Wueushoh; and one step son, Christopher Kilpatrick; his grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one brother,William Kleyboecker.
Graveside Services were private at Memorial Park Cemetery, St Louis. Memorial contributions may made to the World Bird Sanctuary or Stray Rescue.
Services were handled by Valhalla Funeral Chapel.
