Notes for Edna Beckman
Edna A. Maschhoff 89 of Hoyleton, passed away at 5:55 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Centralia Manor.  She was born on June 6, 1924 in Hoyleton, the daughter of Henry Frank and Alma Marie Redhage Beckmann.  She first married William Gus Kleiboeker on February 25, 1943 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ferrin and he passed away on March 19, 1957.  She then married Wallace Fred Maschhoff on June 12, 1963 at Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville and he passed away on January 29, 2004.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, a son; Kenneth William Kleiboeker, a grandson; Travis William Schnitker, 2 brothers; Erwin Beckmann and Walter Beckmann in infancy. 

Left to mourn her passing is a son; Leonard Edward (Patricia) Kleiboeker of Shattuc and a daughter; Karen Louise (Dennis) Schnitker of Hoyleton.  6 grandchildren; Keith Kleiboeker and special friend; Deb Dunstorff, Deanna (Dean) Litzenburg, Ann Marie (Justin) Spiser, Tara (Jeff) Rapp, Amber (JJ) Schomaker and Daniel (Tami) Schnitker.  7 great grandchildren; Allie and Dylan Litzenburg, Marli Kleiboeker, Taylor and Lauren Rapp, James Schomaker III and Travis D. Schnitker.  A sister in law; Connie (Eugene) Dreas of Hoyleton. 

Mrs. Maschhoff was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton on January 15, 1924 and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ferrin on April 10, 1938.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton where she was active in the Ladies Aid.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, traveling to Germany and spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton with Rev. Joshua Theilen officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church cemetery in Ferrin.  Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School.  Styninger Funeral Chapel in Hoyleton is in charge of arrangements.
