As per Richard Harrison birthdate calculated from gravestone marker.He married Jane Jeffrie s and married secound to Nancy Jane Soesbe,daughter of William Soesbe and Angelina Julian Bu ckner on 23 October1864 in the home of William Soesbe in Fairview, Jones County, Iowa atag e 55. Mrs Benj. Harrison, living between Anamosa and Fairview, hasbeen suffering for year s from an affliction of the knee and finallyulceration set in. After a consultation of phys icians an amputationof the leg was determined as affording the only hope of prolonginglife . Accordingly a week ago last Wednesday the operation wasperformed , but the strength of Mr . Harrison gave way and he died thefollowing Sabath. His age was 56 years.
