parents were listed as Fredr. Wm. Kruse and Carolina Wilhemina.

confirmed at St Johns Luth (White Creek) on March 21, 1869. John moved to
Brown County, Kansas about the same time as his brother, Henry in1881, a year
after he was married. John Kruse first had a farm southeast of Morrill, KS, (2
miles south of Morrill, 2 miles east and 1/2 mile south) later turning it over to
his son Fred to farm.
