sandy.woolley@gmail.comHi Sandy, Received your letter yesterday to my mom, Milly Otis. Mom died January 6, 2011. She was home with us and passed away in sleep. Mom had been in hospice care in our home since Oct. 2010. She was getting so weak and tired. Most of the time she spoke of getting better or feeling better, but the last few months she just kept saying she was ready to go. We were so happy to have her with us for the last ten years and she was happy to be back home in Iowa. I'm sorry that you didn't know. I tried to let everyone know that she was writing to. Thank you for writing letters, she enjoyed them so much.
In Christ's love, Milly Heskett
my emailed reply 6jan13:
Dear Milly,
Thank you for your email about your mother's death a year ago. It is good to know that she was with you the last ten years of her life, and in a place she thought of as home. My mother, Margery (Warner) Woolley, died Sept. 9, 1999, having spent the last 24 years of her life living with my younger sister, Janet Banerjee, in Murphysboro, IL. I'm now just 72 years old, and my wife and I share a 100 year old home in Pittsburgh with our youngest son, David, and his wife and 3 young boys. I guess our family must find that three-generational households have some real advantages.
Thanks for writing,
Frank Woolley
