Notes for Herbert August Friedrich Rusch
HIs obituary:

Herbert August Friedrich Rusch, son of Emil Rusch and his wife Adelheid Fritz was born at Freistatt, MO on February 18, 1902. On the 2nd day of March of the same year he was received into the Kingdom of God by the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. On March 28, 1915 he was received into the Communicant membership of Trinity Congregation by the rite of confirmation. Pastor J. E. Roschke assigned to him Revelation 3:20 as his Confirmation verse. This verse is the text for the memorial message. In the confession of the Christian faith, Mr. Rusch remained faithful until the Lord called him home to heaven. On September 28, 1927, he was united in marriage with Frieda Stelter at Parnell Luttheran Chrurch, Wheaton MN. Mr. Rusch was a life-long and faithful member of the Trinity Congregation. The Lord called him out of this life on New Year’s Day, 1976 at the age of 73 years and 10 months. He leaves awaiting the day of his resurrection, one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Marian) Jackson of Republic MO, two sons, Herbert Rusch, Jr. of Lockwood MO, Arlen Rusch of Warsau Wisconsin, two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Hilda) Hesemann of Monett, Mrs. Emil (Olga) Worm of Freistatt, MO, one brother, Ewald Rusch of Mt. Vernon, four sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, ten grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The soul of Mr. Rusch is joined in the glory of heaven with the souls of his wife Frieda, twin brothers and a sister. The family takes this opportunity to thank all who assisted during the illness and death of their father and loved one. “Behold I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him and he with me.” Revelation 3:20
