Olga Worm
Olga G. Worm, age 98, a lifelong resident of Freistatt, Mo., passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012, while in Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett, Mo.
Olga was born on April 28, 1914 in Freistatt, the daughter of Emil Rusch and Adelheid (Fritz) Rusch. She had attended school in Freistatt and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Olga worked on the family farm, was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing.
Olga married Emil Ernst Worm on June 18, 1939 in Freistatt. He preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1987. Also preceding her in death was her parents, Emil and Adelheid Rusch; one son, Gaylord Dane Worm; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include one son, Landrith Worm, of Freistatt, Mo.; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Worm were held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt with Reverend Ryan Buchmueller officiating. Interment was in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions are being directed to the Radio Broadcast in care of the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, Mo.
