Orville E. Rusch, age 79, of Wheaton, Minnesota passed away February 18, 2015 at the Traverse Care Center in Wheaton.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton with Rev. Michael Breach officiating. Organist will be Sara Lee Rinke. Visitation will be held Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
Interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, rural Wheaton. Pallbearers will be Gary Behrens, Garrett Behrens, Pat Peyton, Dean Peyton, Joe Gaulrapp Jr., and Dustin Peyton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Gaulrapp Sr., Delores Gaulrapp, Carmen Burhans, Debbie Kellen and Jody Hofer.
Orville Elroy Rusch was born April 1, 1935 in Wheaton, Minnesota to Ehrhardt and Bertha (Deschner) Rusch. He was baptized May 26, 1935 by Pastor Heine and confirmed April 2, 1950 by Pastor Halstein at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton. He attended rural country school until eighth grade. After his education he worked and lived with his parents on their farm and later moved into Wheaton. Orville worked at various jobs in the area working for the City of Wheaton and later the recycling center until ill health caused him to retire. Orville enjoyed collecting and restoring small engines and spending time with family and friends.
Orville is survived by two brothers: Cecil Rusch and Gerald (Betty) Rusch; one sister Pearl (LeRoy) Behrens and one sister-in-law Delores Thompson all of Wheaton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Orville was preceded in death by his parents Ehrhardt and Bertha Rusch; three brothers: Leonard, Eldon and Dan; and a sister-in-law Gladys Rusch.
