Ruth Alice Warneke, passed
WARNEKE, Ruth Alice
Ruth Alice Warneke, passed away peacefully November 26, 2012 in Whittier. She was born December 2, 1922, in Portland, OR to Arthur and Emilie Buescher. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Portland. On May 3,1946 she married Lyle Warneke. They made their home in Pico Rivera and Hacienda Heights, CA. For 44 years Ruth worked at Haskins and Sells as an administrative assistant retiring in1985. Ruth enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Ruth was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church, Pico Rivera. She will be remembered as a devoted servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Ruth is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, her parents, and brother, Melvin Buescher.
A memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, Pico Rivera, CA on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11:00 am.
