According to Jessie Helen Harrison Rush, daughter of George W. andMinnie Jessie, the Demores ts and the Harrisons met in Kansas whilethey were traveling, George and "Jessie" got marrie d in Vinita, OKand then returned to Iowa. It was not until 1896 when they moved toArkansa s and homesteaded in
Polk County.
