Owen (#121124234) was a dairyman in Penn Laird, according to Jim. Healso died of bone cance r when his son, David Lee, was about six.Owen's nickname was "Kie" (I don't know how tha t was spelled) Hegot the nickname when he was a baby. Aunt Grace told me that shewould g o to her mother and say "Baby kie" when he would cry. Owenmarried Rennie (maiden name?). A fter Owen's death, she married Roy(I can't remember his last name right now). David Lee jus t died ayear or so ago and I need to talk to his widow, whom I know. They hadfour daughter s. Owen was born April 13, 1907 and died October 1936,he is buried in Grottoes; so is his s on. I believe that Aunt Gracesaid that she nursed both her brother and sister as they died- -Ibelieve they both had some leg amputation to try to stop the spread ofthe cancer.
