Landora Jane RICHTSTINE the daughter of John RICHTSTINE Jr andElizabeth Ann GRAFT. Born i n Olin, Jones County, Iowa on 29 October1849 and she died in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma o n 11 December1932. She is buried in Harlan Shelby County, Iowa beside her husband,James He nry TALLMAN. On 31 December 1869 in Jones County, Iowa,Landora Jane RICHTSTINE married Jame s Henry TALLMAN. Landora marriedsecond to Thomas A. LONG on 14 October 1908. Landora's mot herElizabeth Ann GRAFT, was left with four young children when JohnRICHTSTINE Jr. died in L inn County, Iowa probably Marion Township,while working as a carpenter. They owned a farm i n Jones County,Iowa and the family returned there. Landora's mother sold all of thefarm o f over 200 acres except 40 acres where the house was, obviouslybecause she couldn't raise fo ur children and run a large farm alone.When Landora was only 5 years old her mother Elizab eth (GRAFT)RICHTSTINE married second to Adam KRAMER. So she was raised mostly bythe step-f ather and her mother. She had one brother and two sistersthat left home soon after their mo thers remarriage and step-brothersand sisters came to live in the home.<a href="
