Nancy Harrison (wife of Jno. Harrison), was received for baptism inthe Linville Creek Baptis t Church October 8, 1803, and was baptizedthe following day. Her father Benjamin Tallman, h ad been a member ofthe church since 13th May, 1792. She and her sister Ann, were bothmembe rs of the church. Apparently the latter did not long remain amember.
At a meeting of the church Saturday, April 9, 1804. On theapplication of our beloved Siste r Ann Harrison, a letter ofDismission and recommendation was granted her, out of the bound s ofthis Church, may have it in her power to join the same. Appointe Sat.before the 2nd Su nday in May next for meeting of Business. BrnTalman and Lockard to press Br. Moffert to pre ach at Br. Brumfieldssaid Sunday. (Old Church Book, page 66.)
With this minute further trace of John and Ann Harrison is lost. Theyare thought to have re moved from the county, probably to Ohio, thesame as her father.
