Notes for George Degan
Funeral services for George Degan, 82, retired Santa Fe shopman, who died Sunday, will be Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
The body will lie in state at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. J. Schoenfeld, 225 Western Avenue until the funeral hour. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Degan had been a resident of Topeka since 1900.
He is survived by three sons, George and John Degan, Chicago; Edgar W. Degan, Topeka; six daughters, Mrs. Margaret Pommier, Portland, Ore.; Sister Mary Georgina, Leavenworth; Mrs. Schoenfeld, Mrs. Charles Clerico, Mrs. Karl L. Knoll and Miss Agnes Degan, all of Topeka; twenty-four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
