Mrs. Mary Degan, 75, died Saturday morning at her home, 206 Tyler street.
She had been a resident of Topeka since 1900, moving here from Salina.
She was born April 12, 1859.
She is survived by her husband George Degan; three sons, George and John, Chicago, and Edgar W., Topeka; six daughters, Mrs. M. J. Schoenfeld, Mrs. Charles Clerico, Mrs. Karl L. Knoll, and Miss Agnes Degan, all of Topeka; Mrs. M. M. Pommier, Portland, Ore.; and Sister Mary Georgina, Denver; 24 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 8 o'clock at St. Joseph's Catholic church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the residence until the funeral hour.
